I know.. who needs another palette, right? But, there’s something a little bit special about this one: Golden Hour. It’s almost like we flashed back a few years before everything was holographic or duochrome and landed at a more subtle place. Don’t get me wrong, they’re beautifully lustred and give lovely lid glints – they’re just not over-the-top. The pigment isn’t as full-on as many palettes – in fact, if you’re trying to find something a little more low-key than all-out Huda, I think you’d struggle – but it’s buildable so you can really have any intensity you like.
Kryolan Golden Hour Palette
For example, I usually only use one single swipe of a sponge applicator to swatch, so that you can see straight away how it comes out from the pan, but in this, each one has two. The shade that has my name written all over it is Sparkly Green – a gold hit olive that’s delicious. Each shade has sparkle to it so they’re more like lid-lights unless you intensify with layers. I love this palette – it’s a real find, and aside from the yellow gold, I’ll wear all of these happily. It’s £23.90 HERE. I’ve not yet tested for longevity but given the high talc content of Kryolan palettes, I’d probably belt and brace with an eye primer.
