A new service from MakeSpace, ExBox allows you to schedule someone to come pick up anything that reminds you of your ex and drive it to a storage facility. It’s currently available in four cities (New York City, Washington, D.C., Chicago, and Los Angeles) and as you go through the sign-up process, you can unlock discount codes depending on just how bad your ex was:

Amory Wooden, MakeSpace’s Vice President of Brand, told ELLE.com, “We wanted to think of a way to really make this time of year exciting and fun and get people reenergized. Our thought was, ‘Let’s get people ready for cuffing season.’” Since MakeSpace already works to get people organized and decluttered, this seemed like a natural extension. And as an added bonus, she said, it will help people get “cozy for a new season of mingling and mating.” Clear space, full hearts, can’t lose!

The concept was, of course, also inspired by a few of MakeSpace’s past customers. Wooden mentions one woman who was storing her ex’s 20 high-end bicycles and another who was storing an ex’s antique barber supplies—both things you probably don’t want to toss but also don’t want clogging up your space.

The ExBox discounts extend through the end of the year, and you can get your things picked up in 24 hours after scheduling. In terms of payment, there’s a three-month minimum requirement for initial storage, and then you can sign onto a monthly or annual plan, but you can also take your things out at any time. So if you’re still reeling from a breakup, maybe it’s time to turn on Beyoncé’s “Irreplaceable” and get packing.
