Glossier Cloud Paint New Shades

Cloud Paint New Shades

Meet Storm and Dawn – the newest shades of Cloud Paint from Glossier. I’m really a fan of the brilliantly named Cloud Paint. If you’ve never tried it, it’s a loose and creamier version of Origins Pinch Your Cheeks used as a tint for the cheeks. You can very easily apply with your finger tips if you wish but through trial and error I’ve found the easier way to use it is with a brush (I use the Clinique foundation brush) for a perfect diffusion.

It’s products like this that simplify beauty routines – there’s no contouring or highlighting involved here – and with forward trends indicating that we are heading to pared back rather than bulging make up bags, we’re only going to see more of less. Although Glossier is heavily tilted towards a certain demographic, ignore that if you don’t fall into the millenial camp – this is an age-irrelevant product. I love creme blush for older skin as it’s less likely to be drying and Cloud Paint is definitely a lot more natural looking.. there’s nothing not to like here.

Storm looks like the perfect shade for deeper tones, while Dawn diffuses out to a flattering coral touch over lightly tanned skin. The addition of Storm and Dawn brings the total shades of Cloud Paint to six. They’re £15 each HERE.
