Yesterday, Kim Kardashian and her makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic finally revealed their upcoming makeup collaboration to the world and to say we were left shaking is an understatement.
Not only does Kim look amazing in the campaign images, but the pigment on that eyeshadow palette left us practically drooling at the mouth.

As part of the collab, Mario and Kim have also teamed up to create two lip glosses and one lipstick but, let’s be real here, all we care about is that eyeshadow palette.
Consisting of ten shades—all inspired by the looks Mario has created on Kim over the last ten years—the palette of dreams contains a mixture of matte and shimmer warm toned neutrals, with one pop of electric blue.

Of course, it wasn’t long until people on the Internet started drawing comparisons to other palettes and Kim was being called out (yet again) for copying younger sister Kylie Jenner.
Earlier this month Kim was accused of following in Kylie’s footsteps by releasing her own concealer range with KKW Beauty, not long after Kylie launched her range of Skin Concealers.
Now, people are dragging Kim on Twitter for supposedly copying Kylie’s Royal Peach palette.

It wasn’t just Twitter, either—people on Instagram were quick to voice their opinion on the similarities between the two palettes. These were some comments on the launch post:
“Looks like the royal palette from Kylie”
“Wish it just didn’t look so similar to Kylie’s.”
“Instantly thought of the Kylie Royal Peach palette. Looks so similar with colours. She even has the blue in the same spot, just on the bottom row and not on the top like hers ? wish she could have been more original.”
“This looks just like the Kylie palette.”
“Looks exactly like Kylie’s kit! And Kim usually does a nude eye look!”
“Is that not one of Kylie’s palettes??”
To be fair to Kim, if it weren’t for the blue shade I don’t think anyone would draw these comparisons, but hey, all publicity is good publicity…right Kim?
