Lori Loughlin’s daughters Olivia Jade and Isabella Giannulli were reported last week to have withdrawn from the University of Southern California after their parents Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli’s involvement in the college admissions cheating scandal came to light. But TMZ is now reporting that the university may still take drastic further action on them, going so far as to ban them from the school’s campus permanently.

For context, Olivia Jade and Isabella’s parents were indicted for allegedly paying $500,000 to make it appear that both girls had been coxswain recruits for the rowing team to guarantee their admission to USC. They were arrested and released on $1 million bond each.

School officials confirmed to TMZ that the girls formally dropped out of the university on their own and that USC officials had been investigating the girls’ case at the time they withdrew. Despite the girls voluntarily leaving USC though, TMZ’s sources said that there will “still be a misconduct hearing to determine if the girls should be banned from USC and its grounds because they were ‘disruptive individuals,’” the outlet wrote. Olivia Jade and Isabella can attend the hearing although it will proceed with or without their presence.

USC is investigating this and similar cases with the FBI and U.S. attorney, TMZ’s sources said.

Meanwhile, E! got an update on the girls’ state that it ran yesterday evening. The outlet reported that the two are “devastated,” “scared,” and were “advised not to talk to anyone and are only in communication with their lawyers and their family,” according to a source.

Olivia Jade in particular is near breakdown. “She is very distraught and is in crisis mode,” E!’s source said. “Olivia is more embarrassed than anything and doesn’t know how to handle all of the stress and scrutiny that has been surrounding her and her family. She feels completely lost. Her and Lori are leaning on each other a lot for full support right now.”
