L’Occitane Herbae | British Beauty Blogger

[productsample/affiliate] This is the last of the L’Occitane newness for now and something for those of us who love a burst of citrus.

L’Occitane Herbae.

For some reason, I thought that Herbae would be quite sharp and bitter so I was surprised by the almost sherbet-lemon that I got at the first spritz. There’s definitely a fruity sweetness to it followed by a fresh and grassy trail.

L’Occitane Herbae

After a bit of time on the skin, notes of bramble start to warm though which explains the fruitiness – to be honest, for me the most predominant notes are lemon and bramble and I can’t stop thinking about how they might taste as a cocktail! Delicious, I should think. Herbae is the most interesting of the L’Occitane fragrances – it doesn’t smell as it looks, it needs time on the skin to become rounded and smooth and to allow greener notes to come through, there’s a clean edge to it and every time I smell it, it seems slightly different. Although the big bottle that I’m using for pictures is beautiful, I’d suggest – if you’re not near a store – that you should buy the £20 roller version first HERE non affiliate HERE rather than go all in. I love it, but I don’t know if I’d love it all the way through a massive bottle (£80, 90m, £60, 50ml).
