Khloé Kardashian is said to be “extremely upset” at her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson’s lack of interest in seeing their daughter True. Kardashian and Thompson officially broke up last month after there were reports of him cheating on her by kissing Jordyn Woods at a house party. He previously was caught cheating on Kardashian with another woman days before she went into labor with their daughter last year.
Us Weekly reports now that Thompson has not been prioritizing co-parenting with Kardashian. “Khloé is getting extremely upset with Tristan because he isn’t really making any effort to be involved in their daughter True’s life,” a source told the outlet. True and Kardashian are based in Los Angeles, while Thompson is based in Cleveland but frequently travels.
“Khloé understands he is on the road because of basketball and lives in Cleveland, but she just feels that Tristan has moved on,” the source said. “Tristan’s attitude seems to be, ‘I will see True when I see her.’”
Us Weekly previously reported that Kardashian wants Thompson to be present in his daughter’s life and has no plans to restrict access unless he’s a bad dad. “She is never going to take True away from Tristan as long as he’s a good father to True and [does] his part,” that source said. “Khloé will always allow Tristan to be in True’s life as much as he can be.”
The extent of his involvement is up to him. Us Weekly has reported that Thompson is beyond over Kardashian. “Tristan isn’t too worried about not seeing True, or Khloé establishing new rules when it comes to co-parenting,” a source told the outlet in February. “He honestly doesn’t really care and was over it. He was never trying to win Khloé back.”
Meanwhile, this morning Kardashian posted another “cryptic” Instagram quote, which may or may not be about Thompson.
The quote reads: “There’s really no shortcut to forgetting someone. You just have to endure missing them everyday until you don’t anymore.”
