Gwyneth Paltrow and her 14-year-old lookalike daughter Apple Martin were on a ski trip this weekend, and the two took a lift selfie that Paltrow shared on her Instagram. This apparently did not happen with Apple’s blessing.
Paltrow captioned her shot with just emojis, “🍎⛷❤️,” and got a very sassy (and very teenage) response from her daughter in the comments section of her image. “Mom we have discussed this,” Apple wrote. “You may not post anything without my consent.”
Paltrow responded to her daughter on the platform, writing, “You can’t even see your face!” It’s a fair point, given Apple has her helmet on, covering up her eyes. The photo remained up on Paltrow’s page, so it looks like Paltrow won out.
Apple, Paltrow and Chris Martin’s oldest child, has appeared on Paltrow’s Instagram before with her face more exposed. While it isn’t all that often Paltrow posts photos of her two kids Apple and Moses, Paltrow last shared a picture of Apple with her best friend in a birthday tribute post to the friend in January. “Happy birthday @ava.crox❤️we love and adore you,” Paltrow wrote. “Thank you for being apples soul sister, the two of you together are just about my favorite thing ever.”
And she shared a selfie of her and Apple on National Daughter’s Day in September. “Happy #nationaldaughtersday Apple Martin, it’s like i conjured you from a dream, you make my life,” Paltrow wrote.
