Last night, celebrities, influencers, and fashion’s elite attended the Fendi Baguette party during New York Fashion Week. The party was hosted by Silvia Venturini Fendi and Serge Brunschwig, and the brand made sure that this evening was all about the Baguette. From the moment Silvia Venturini Fendi launched the classic Fendi Baguette bag back in 1997, it became one of the most coveted designer bags on the market. “I was asked, among other things, to come up with a particularly easy and functional handbag. In a certain sense, it had to be technological and minimal, just like the times. My response (fortunately I am indomitably disobedient) was the Baguette,” says Silvia Venturini Fendi. Fast-forward to 2019, and that’s still the case as proven by the ongoing list of celebrities we see wearing the handbag on heavy rotation.
