Dear E. Jean: I’m in love with a man who lives with his brother and his brother’s girlfriend in a big house. I live in a house about a mile away with a roommate. We’ve been together for four years. One day I’d like to live with him, and I’m growing tired of the back-and-forth between homes. He says he wants to live with me, too, but he doesn’t seem to want to make room. Do I dump him to make room for a man who wants to make room? Should I relax and just enjoy what we have? Or do I give him some sort of ultimatum?—Not Moving Anytime Soon
Not, My Nougat: What’s the rush? I always believed a man should live a mile down the road. Then you can see each other at your most romantic, and yet can live independent lives. Enjoy him!
