Guide to All Kardashian Family Feuds From Taylor Swift to Blac Chyna

Thanks to social media, the flame of a celeb beef is easier to stoke than ever before. And the Kardashians are the reigning queens of finessing these feuds to their advantage, even if their clapbacks can be a little cringey (or sometimes problematic).

On Watch What Happens Live this week, the sisters were kind enough to update Andy Cohen and the masses on the status of some of their most notorious celeb feuds. Below, we’ve sussed out the status of 16 Kardashian feuds, including the ones Cohen asked about and a few he missed.

1. The sisters’ feud with Caitlyn Jenner led Khloé to stop talking to her for two years.

The Kardashians have an up-and-down relationship with their former stepdad, to say the least. Following Caitlyn Jenner’s coming-out and transition in April 2015, she wrote her memoir, The Secrets of My Life, released in April 2017. In it, she didn’t exactly speak glowingly of her ex, Kris Jenner. In fact, she painted Kris as controlling and fame-hungry, and spilled some family details that the matriarch probably would’ve preferred to keep mum. This led to a falling-out between Caitlyn and the three Kardashian sisters. Khloé went two years without speaking to her (from 2015 to 2017), but there’s a silver lining to the feud: the K sisters announced this week that they saw Caitlyn at the holidays and are hoping to put the feud behind them. We’ll see how that goes!

2. Kim and Kanye’s ongoing feud with Taylor Swift is a gossip blogger’s dream come true.

This one will surely enter the pantheon of the Greatest Celebrity Feuds of All Time. It started before Kim and Kanye were even vaguely connected, with the VMA interruption heard ‘round the world: Kanye ran onstage to swipe Taylor Swift’s trophy and announce unceremoniously that the award should’ve gone to Beyoncé. This resulted in major drama and changed the trajectory of both musicians’ careers, if only temporarily. The two eventually called a truce, and for a while, it looked like smooth sailing.

Then in 2016, Kanye released the song “Famous,” which started with the line, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/why? I made that bitch famous.” And all hell broke loose. Taylor publicly claimed she was offended by the lyrics, but Kim and Kanye insisted she’d known all along.

Then, a few months later in June 2016, Kim released audio recordings of Taylor approving some of the lyrics. Taylor protested that she hadn’t known Kanye would refer to her as “that bitch,” but the damage was done. Taylor took a long hiatus from the public eye, then released the album Reputation, which is full of apparent references to the drama. She also took ownership of the snake imagery Kim’s fans had employed during the whole thing, in an attempt to rise from the ashes.

But the beef seems to have cooled for now. Kim recently told Andy Cohen that when it comes to the Taylor drama, she’s “over it” and “we’ve all moved on.” And when Andy Cohen asked Kim whether she’d rather be stuck in an elevator with Taylor Swift or Drake, she said Taylor. Which brings us to our next feud…

3. Some major drama’s been going on between Kanye, Kim and Drake.

Remember Drake’s seemingly sweet and innocent song of the summer, “In My Feelings”? It was the source of major drama for himself, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. The song’s hook starts with the line, “Kiki, do you love me?” Kim Kardashian’s well-known family nickname just happens to be Kiki. Fans have gone crazy concocting conspiracy theories about the affair, incorporating Drake’s song lyrics and the fact that Kimye and Drake live in the same neighborhood. And Kanye indulged in a tweet-storm of his own. Kim jumped in with a tweet telling Drake not to “threaten” her or her family. It’s unclear exactly where this feud stands, but based on Kim’s statement that she’d rather be stuck in an elevator with Taylor Swift than Drake, it’s clear he’s still far from the family’s good graces.

4. Amber Rose and Khloé Kardashian tussled, but they’ve buried the hatchet.

Kanye West’s ex-girlfriend, Amber Rose, memorably feuded with Kanye West. She retaliated to one of his insults with an X-rated tweet about his bedroom preferences (it led to the first known use of the hashtag #FingersInTheBootyAssBitch). But she and Kim posted a selfie together a short while later, showing Kim wasn’t totally supportive of Kanye’s fighting words. Amber also once stuck up for Kim when Pink appeared to shade her for being naked.

Khloé, on the other hand, has had a rockier relationship with Amber Rose. In 2015, Amber criticized rapper Tyga’s relationship with then-17-year-old Kylie Jenner, saying, “Kylie’s a baby. She needs to go to bed at 7 o’clock and relax … That’s ridiculous. [Tyga] should be ashamed of himself. That’s how I feel, for sure … He has a beautiful woman and a baby. And left that for a 16-year-old that just turned 17.”

Khloé responded by shaming Amber Rose for her past career as a stripper, which began when she was only 15. Amber then called Khloé’s real paternity into question, which — yikes.

But when it was revealed that Tristan Thompson allegedly cheated on Khloé while she was pregnant with his child in 2018, Amber posted words of support on Instagram. And on “Watch What Happens Live” this week, Khloé admitted they’d had their beef but insisted it had been squashed, quipping, “It’s 2019.”

5. The sisters are unfazed by their legal drama with Blac Chyna, although it’s ongoing.

Remember when Blac Chyna (Kylie’s former boyfriend’s ex, Kim’s former bestie) and Rob Kardashian shocked and entertained us all by dating, having a baby and airing their dirty laundry on a weekly basis in the form of a spinoff reality show? Ah, 2016 — were we ever so young?

Alas, they broke up prettttty quickly, and Blac Chyna’s rechristening into Angela Kardashian was not fated to happen in this lifetime. But her drama with the family lives on in the form of several nightmarish-sounding lawsuits. He’s sued her, she’s sued him, and Kim, Kourtney, Khloé and Kris are all somehow involved. Digging into suit(s) reveals some truly gory details such as alleged domestic abuse and Rob’s S&M predilections that truly no one needs to know about. Enter at your own risk.

When asked about the drama by Andy, Kim said the family and Chyna are “still in a lawsuit. I honestly don’t… we don’t know, we don’t care. We can’t keep up.”

6. Khloe once tweeted an obscene photo purported to be of Chloe Grace Moretz.

The Hollywood actress was as "appalled" as the rest of us upon seeing the offensive poster for her animated movie Red Shoes & The 7 Dwarfs, which appeared to imply that being fat equated to being ugly.
After model Tess Holliday accused the movie of body-shaming, Chloe immediately set the record straight with the tweets: "I have now fully reviewed the marketing for Red Shoes, I am just as appalled and angry as everyone else, this wasn't approved by me or my team.
"Pls know I have let the producers of the film know. I lent my voice to a beautiful script that I hope you will all see in its entirety.
"The actual story is powerful for young women and resonated with me. I am sorry for the offense that was beyond my creative control."

During the height of Kimye and Taylor Swift’s snake-gate in 2016, Chloe Grace Moretz stepped in to implore the American public to pay attention to more important things than Kanye West and Taylor Swift’s phone conversations. Khloe Kardashian responded by tweeting a photo of Chloe Grace Moretz in a red bikini while shooting “Neighbours 2,” alongside a photo that looked like her in the ocean, in the same bikini, with her rear end exposed. It turned out the second photo was actually not of Moretz, but Khloe never backed down from what was, let’s face it, a really low blow.

This was only a few months after Chloe had tweeted in response to a naked Kim selfie, “I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than just our bodies.” Back then, Kim had responded by sarcastically welcoming Chloe to Twitter “because no one knows who she is.”

This beef has sat dormant for more than two years now. Let’s see if it rears its head in 2019.

7. Tyson Beckford and Kim K won’t be sending each other holiday cards any time soon.

This feud prompted CNN to ask a question no one’s exactly dying to answer: “What’s worse: body-shaming of a homophobic jab?” I mean, yikes.

It started when Beckford commented, apropos of nothing, under a photo of Kim, “Sorry I don’t care for it personally She is not real, doctor f***ed up on her right hip.” Kim shot back, “Sis we all know why you don’t care for it,” implying the actor/model is gay.

Aaaaand no one wins!

8. Lindsay Lohan and Kim have a pretty peculiar ongoing feud.

Lindsay commented “I am confused” under a picture of Kim Kardshian sporting a culturally appropriative hairstyle. Kim responded, “you know what’s confusing…..your sudden foreign accent.”

And it seems like both parties are still confused! Lindsay later told Andy Cohen she didn’t mean any shade, and was genuinely confused by the hairstyle. Kim, meanwhile, said the beef is squashed: “No drama, I like her, it’s easy,” she said this week. K!

9. Pink shaded Kim for tweeting a naked photo.

Remember when Kim posted that pic with the black bars covering certain body parts, and the entire internet flipped out? Why did everyone care so much? The world will never know.

But Pink was one of the stars who decided to volley criticism at Kim, a consenting adult, for posting a censored photo of her own body. The singer posted, “Shout out to all of the women, across the world, using their brains, their strength, their work ethic, their talent, their ‘magic’ that they were born with, that only they possess. It may not ever bring you as much ‘attention’ or bank notes as using your body, your sex, your t**s and a***s, but women like you don’t need that kind of ‘attention.’ In the quiet moments, you will feel something deeper than the fleeting excitement resulting from attention, you will feel something called pride and self-respect. Keep on resisting the urge to cave. You’ll never have to make silly excuses for yourself.”

She later confirmed it was all meant as a dig at Kim, because of Kim’s beeflet with Bette Midler (we’ll get to that later).

10. Jameela Jamil is waging a one-sided war against the sisters.

This isn’t technically a feud because the Kardashians have never retaliated. But actress Jameela Jamil has turned her criticism of Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and other stars into a bona fide side hustle. With her new initiative to ban airbrushing from photos, maybe 2019 is the year when the Kardashians will finally see fit to respond to her very targeted critiques of them.

11. Sarah Michelle Gellar’s on the Kardashians’ sh*t list because of her tweet about Kimye’s Vogue cover.

Sarah Michelle Gellar was one of the stars Kim named as a “hater” last year on Valentine’s Day. It was apparently because the acclaimed thespian publicly threatened to cancel her Vogue subscription due to Kim and Kanye West’s cover. A fashionable couple on the cover of a fashion magazine — what an outrage!

12. Piers Morgan has slut-shamed the sisters time and time again.

Piers Morgan basically stays in the news by criticizing people who are younger and more relevant than he is, so it’s no surprise he’s bashed the Kardashians. Most notably, he shared some deep thoughts after Kim posted a naked (but censored) photo in 2018, saying, “I think it’s pathetic. If I was in a room with Kim now, I’d say, ‘Put it all away, you’re a mum to three kids – it’s embarrassing.’ Imagine being a mum and thinking, ‘Ooh I must show my breasts and flash my bottom on social media.’ So embarrassing – have some social decorum!”

Yes, have some social decorum. Be more like the guy who trashes women for having bodies day in and day out! Kim responded by sending him a bottle of her perfume last Valentine’s Day. (He was on the “haters” list.)

13. Wendy Williams is allegedly the target of a Kris-orchestrated boycott.

Everyone’s favorite guilty-pleasure talk show host Wendy Williams has never been shy about criticizing the Kardashians. But last February, it was reported that Kris Jenner had officially banned any of her offspring from appearing on Wendy’s show. Wendy’s critiqued the fam for years, but it seems the straws that broke the camel’s back were her mockery of Kanye’s apparent mental health struggles and her ongoing complaint that the Kardashians’ baby-sister Kylie was too young to have a kid.

14. Daniel Craig whined about the Kardashians’ fame and Kris Jenner asked for a public apology.

The actor spoke out about his character's less attractive qualities.

Put James Bond on the long, long list of actors who’ve belly-ached about the Kardashians gaining TV fame without having to read lines from a script. He said of Kim’s divorce from Kris Humphries in a 2011 interview, “You see that and you think, ‘What, you mean all I have to do is behave like a f***ing idiot on television and then you’ll pay me millions?’ I’m not judging it. Well, I am, obviously.”

Kris accused him of “cross[ing] the line” and said, “It’s not made him look like the world’s nicest guy. The right thing for a real man to do now would be to issue a public apology.” He didn’t do that. But he hasn’t ever buddied up to them either, so this feud’s officially a cold case.

15. Naya Rivera bit off a little more than she could chew when critiquing Kim’s “Break the Internet” cover.

The former “Glee” actress commented under Kim’s infamous seminude Paper Magazine cover, “I normally don’t. But…you’re someone’s mother.” The comment didn’t go over well in the Kardashiverse. Kim apparently sicced Jonathan Cheban on the star. In a long rant, he pointed out Naya’s increasing physical resemblance to Kim, saying, “We all know you want to be Kim, but you don’t got it boo, and the only cover you will be gracing is the Single White Female 2 straight to DVD box set.”

16. The sisters are divided on the status of their relationship with Chelsea Handler.

Handler, you might recall, said Donald Trump is president because of the Kardashians. Seems like a bit of a stretch, but she’s far from the first person to say it.

Kim told Andy Cohen she’s not mad — “I mean I’ve seen her, I’ve talked to her, it’s all good,” she said. Khloé, meanwhile, was not so quick to forgive and forget.

“But that’s what I don’t like about some people,” she said. “They want to talk all this crap publicly, but when they see us they’re up our ass! It’s crazy. I don’t like that.”
