There’s nothing in this world Cardi B loves more than checks, and this spring, she’ll be cashing a huge one when kicks off her first-ever Las Vegas residency.
According to the Associated Press, Cardi will takeover the new Las Vegas club, KAOS, an amphitheater-style dayclub and a nightclub that is slated to open its doors in April, as part of Palms Casino Resort’s $690 million renovation.
The redevelopment of the site will feature brand new state-of-the-art technology performers can use to improve their performances, including a rotating 360-degree DJ booth. Cardi will join the likes of KAOS alum like G-Eazy, and DJs Kaskade and Skrillex.
Cardi nabbing her first Las Vegas residency comes on the heels of her picking up five Grammy nods for album of the year (Invasion of Privacy) and song of the year (“I Like It”), best pop duo/group performance (her Maroon 5 collab “Girls Like You”), best rap album, and best rap performance (“Be Careful”).
In addition to her nominations, Cardi will perform at the Grammy Awards for the first time, joining other performers Janelle Monáe, Camila Cabello, Kacey Musgraves and more.
