Miley Cyrus joined Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin on the latest episode of Carpool Karaoke, where the “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” singer revealed that she and Hailey weren’t exactly BFF’s growing up.
Miley popped into the backseat and shared that while the Cyrus and Baldwin families are friendly, she and Hailey’s older sister Alaia used to bully a young Hailey when they were kids.
“I would be evil to her,” Miley admits in the episode. “She would try to play with us, like me and Alaia, and then we would lock her out of the room and be evil.”
Hailey laughs at the memory in the video, and then Miley jokes that she was just preparing Hailey for the fame she would achieve later in life.
“I had to. It made you who you are, you know? It made you stronger,” she explains. “Now you can always take like…the trolls and shit. ‘Cause I was such a troll.”
