Ruth Bader Ginsburg, 85, is currently undergoing treatment for lung cancer. CNBC reports that the Supreme Court Justice is having surgery to remove two cancerous, malignant nodules from her left lung, which were discovered during examinations to treat three fractured ribs she injured during a fall last month. But if you think that’s enough to keep Justice Ginsburg from getting to her infamous dissent collar, you don’t know the Notorious R.B.G.

Amidst President Donald Trump’s attempts to place further restrictions on migrants seeking asylum in the United States, NBC is reporting that Ginsburg voted against his plan from her hospital bed. While in recovery from life saving surgery, the outlet reports that Ginsburg cast the decision-making vote against the Trump Administration, a 5-4 result.

Ginsburg’s lung cancer did not spread to other areas of her body before the nodules on her lung were removed. The Justice is expected to make a full recovery and return to the bench in the new year.
