I cannot believe I got this beauty for £16. In fact, I messaged Julia at Mrs Gloss asking her if she thought Selfridges had made a mistake with their pricing. But, it turns out that these palettes are selling for £16 across the board, so it was time for me to dive in for my first Morphe palette.
Morphe Your True Selfie Palette
I’m not sure why I picked out this particular palette – there are a few different versions – but there are some wearable shades for me in the mix. Your True Selfie has a mix of matte and shimmers. In terms of quality, for the money I can’t fault it really although it doesn’t have that seamless silken glide of more luxury shades. I can compare directly with the textures from the Becca palette from yesterday’s post and it’s just not the same in terms of brush glide, but that does not at all suggest that this isn’t a great palette – it is. The swatches came out fine although you can see they might take a little more building than say, a Marc Jacobs colour, which just smacks down ALL of the pigment in one brush pass.

I’ve gone down the palette as though each row is a trio for these. So here we go: Atmosphere, Woke Up Like This, Artist (which is much more green tinged in the palette but my camera wants it to be canary!), Strike A Pose, Sorry Not Sorry, Before, Dopepic, OOTD, After.

Not bad for £16. I bought mine at Selfridges but I think you’re better off heading to Cult where the postage is free HERE.
