Ariana Grande Reportedly Trying to Visit Pete Davidson Amidst His Mental Health Emergency

Pete Davidson just shared two deeply personal messages on his Instagram account, which has since been deleted.

First, following Ariana Grande’s comments about Kanye West’s public Twitter feud with Drake, Davidson shared a message commending West for speaking out about his personal struggles with mental health.

“Bravo Kanye West for standing up for yourself and speaking out against mental health,” Davidson wrote in reference to the above tweet. “I can’t explain to you enough how difficult and scary it is to be honest about stuff like this. We need people like Kanye. No one should ever point fingers at you for your bravery in speaking about mental health. I’m seriously disgusted.”

Then, less than an hour later, Davidson posted a seemingly suicidal note to Instagram, and deleted his entire account shortly after.

“I really don’t want to be on this earth anymore,” he wrote. “I’m doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don’t know how much longer I can last. All I’ve ever tried to do was help people. Just remember I told you so.”

Fans and celebrities alike immediately took to Twitter to express their grave concern for Davidson, ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande included.

In a tweet that has since been deleted, Grande wrote, “I’m downstairs and I’m not going anywhere if you need anyone or anything. I know u have everyone u need and that’s not me, but I’m here too.”

She continued, “Man I’m so sorry I told a dumb joke. I really didn’t mean any harm. All I want [is] everyone to be healthy and happy. So desperately. Please. My God.”

The New York Times is reporting that a police officer was sent to Rockefeller Center (where Davidson was rehearsing for SNL) to check on Davidson, and that he is “accounted for.” Meanwhile, Us Weekly speculates that Davidson will still appear on tonight’s episode of SNL.
