Justin Bieber Celebrated Hailey Baldwin’s 22nd Birthday By Shoving Cake in Her Face

Hailey Baldwin, the newly-Instagram-official Hailey Bieber, celebrated her 22nd birthday with Justin Bieber yesterday—coincidentally on the 22nd of the month, making it her golden birthday and on Thanksgiving this year. So their families got to take in the festivities right with them.

Baldwin and Bieber reunited after spending a couple days apart last week to have dinner with members from both their families and multiple cakes. (It’s unclear whether they celebrated in the U.S., where Baldwin was last week, or Canada, where Bieber was, but Canadian Thanksgiving was actually last month. On Wednesday, they were spotted out getting lunch in Toronto.)

The Biebs, being the Biebs, played a bit of a joke with one of Baldwin’s birthday cakes. In an Instagram Story posted by his mother Pattie Mallette, he was filmed shoving Baldwin’s face into a strawberry shortcake with his family watching. Baldwin was in a good enough mood to excuse it though and kissed him with her whipped-cream-splattered face after.

A second proper cake was unveiled, and the group sang happy birthday. That’s when, after Baldwin blew out all the candles, Bieber gave a brief speech to the family about Baldwin. Mallette captured a couple seconds of it: “Happy birthday to the love of my life,” he started. “She’s absolutely amazing.”

Baldwin was also documented steaming napkins, and the family seemed very, very excited about it being her and Bieber’s first married Thanksgiving:

Baldwin herself spent the day on Instagram reposting birthday tributes others gave her. Bieber, being alongside her all day, did not post one or really need to.

Baldwin did share a generous glimpse at her Thanksgiving feast though and posted one last Insta story confirming she had a lovely day. “Thanks for all the birthday wishes,” she wrote. “22 is already AMAZING!!!”
