Everything about this pared back collection from Givenchy is gorgeous. I don’t have one single complaint here – with only five items each one has been done to perfection. Starting with Le Rouge, in its foiled rose-gold bullet, Givenchy has chosen shade Carmin Escarpin 306 which is a delicious orange toned scarlet in a semi-matte finish.

My favourite items are these Dual Liners, and they really do work to give a sweep of shadow and liner in one go. I’ve tried both and got a perfect liner with a shadow effect above – I found that I needed to take the shadow a bit higher onto my lid (easily done with a few strokes of the crayon) but they’re so simple to use. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Can we have black liner sections for spring please, Givenchy!

Prisme Libre is a beauty classic – this version is in one of Givenchy’s best selling shades, Satin Blanc, with four complementary shades that unify to create a mattifying veil. Prisme Libre has been around since 2006 …but I actually thought it was longer for some reason.

I’m kicking myself over the picture of the Highlighter Powder – I had a beautiful pic of it before I’d swatched that turned out to be blurry and I hadn’t noticed, so this one has its corner ruffled. I was told to try this wet as well as dry and it really makes such a difference as you’ll see in the swatches.
