Game of Thrones Season 8 Premiere Date

Winter is coming, then…other winter is coming. It’s official: the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones is coming in April 2019.

HBO released a short teaser video to announce the news, speeding briskly through the bloody, winding path to the final chapter of the story, summed up by the text: “Every battle. Every Betrayal. Every alliance. Every risk. Every fight. Every sacrifice. Every oath. Every death…is all #forthethrone.”

There’s more to look forward from the GoT universe, with a spinoff in development that promises to tell the story of Westeros, but millennia before the Targaryen-Stark-Lannister struggles we know.
