Pete Davidson brought his love for Ariana Grande to SNL last night, during the show’s 44th season premiere. The comedian mentioned Ari a bunch of times throughout the episode and gave some hilarious insight on their new life together.
First, Davidson popped up during host Adam Driver’s opening monologue and conversationally asked, “So how was your summer, man? Did you work a little? Travel, by chance?” Driver responds, “I did, Pete. How was YOUR summer?” referring to Davidson’s whirlwind engagement.

Pete then made an appearance during Weekend Update with Colin Jost, where he talked about his prenup with Ariana. “Well, obviously, I wanted one,” Davidson jokes. “God forbid we split up and she takes half my sneakers.”
Jost also brought up Grande’s song ‘Pete Davidson,’ which led Pete to hypothesize what would happen if they split up. “If we break up, and we won’t, but in ten years, god forbid, if that ever happened, there will be a song called ‘Pete Davidson’ playing on speakers at K-Mart and I’ll be working there.”
