Sophie looked regal in a beautiful white gown with a long lace veil and tiara as her father, Prince Philip of Württemberg, led her into Saint-Quirin church. According to People, Philip is the son of Duke Carl Württemberg, the head of the family. Her husband Maximilien, a french aristocrat, looked handsome in a dark suit.

The Daily Mail reports that the family are “descendants of the former royal family of the Kingdom of Württemberg, which existed from 1805 to 1918, formerly the Duchy of Württemberg, which began in 1495.”
