‘Clueless’ Movie Reboot Details

I don’t know why everyone is trying to ruin my life, but a Clueless remake is in the works, and I’m totally buggin’ for all of the wrong reasons.

The film’s details are being kept under wraps for now, but Deadline confirmed that Paramount has taken on the project, which will be produced by Tracy Oliver of Girls Trip and written by Marquita Robinson, who hails from the Netflix original series Glow.

The news comes just a few weeks after Dove Cameron announced she’ll star in a musical version of the original film, playing Clueless‘s leading lady, Cher Horowitz.

I can get on board with an Off-Broadway musical, but if this new film reboot swaps Cher’s iconic 90’s yellow plaid for millennial pink, I WILL take action.
