Why Prince William Says Kate Middleton Is ‘Immensely Jealous’ of His Africa Trip

Prince William is currently on a royal tour of Namibia, Tanzania and Kenya in Africa without his wife Kate Middleton—something, Express reports, that Kate and William will do for certain tours and projects they consider to be “personal” causes close to their hearts. But William did address Kate’s absence and how jealous she is of his trip during his remarks at the British High Commissioner’s reception in Windhoek, Namibia. Her jealousy has a little to do with their kids Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, William cheekily quipped, per Hello!.

“I’m delighted to be visiting Namibia for the first time,” William said. “I am only sorry that my wife Catherine is not able to join me. She is immensely jealous, particularly as I am looking forward to a few good uninterrupted nights’ sleep this week, away from my wonderful children.”
