Suqqu Extra Rich Glow Cream Foundation

Suqqu Extra Rich Glow Cream Foundation

It won’t surprise you in the least, I don’t think, to know this is an expensive foundation at £68. And you don’t get very much, either. But, neither to do you need very much to get a beautiful, glowy (not shiny) finish that gives you a buffed sheen when you catch the light. It feels almost weightless and gives a medium coverage that you can build up. Many foundations claim to be a make up / skin care hybrid, but this one really will help your skin to keep moisture without shine – handy in the forthcoming winter months if you tend to get drier then.

It’s got some great skin loving ingredients – camellia seed oil, hyaluronic acid (plant based), and sakura extracts for starters. Suqqu claims that it’s a slow release moisture, so over the course of a day will keep on releasing the hydration you need but I’ve no way to know or prove one way or the other. All I will say is that my skin stayed in a perfectly hydrated state through the day, with a beautiful level of coverage that didn’t fade until right at the end (when I was somewhat fading myself!) and the coverage is immaculate. I’m very hooked on Clarins Skin Illusion foundation at the moment but I am easily persuaded away from it to finish the jar of Suqqu.

I haven’t fully blended (obviously) to give you an idea of the shade (102) which is ideal for my skin now that the sun has faded somewhat from it. I’d strongly suggest that if you have a Suqqu counter, you try it first to get your perfect match, but if you already know your Suqqu shade, it’s HERE.
