There’s no escaping animal print this season – while I was in Granada a couple of weeks ago I saw a much older lady wearing some leopard leggings and entirely different leopard version top. Double-leopard. That’s a life goal right there – she looked fantastic and so much her own person just doing exactly as she pleased. So, leopard is kind of all about how you you do it – I don’t think I’m ready for double-leopard quite yet myself, but I’ve got a few pieces and sworn that I don’t need more. I actually have a leopard print coat from at least three or four years ago so I can’t justify another but I tried this one on in Next on my way home yesterday and it’s really one of the nicer ones I’ve seen because it’s toned down a bit (I’ve seen a lot of orangey looking leopard – I’m looking at you Zara).
It’s got a slightly cuffed sleeve and drops to mid thigh (on me) and it seems roomy enough to wear sweaters underneath without strangling your arms. But more importantly, it’s got a decent collar – so many coats with no collars around! This coat is £75, sizes 6 to 20 and available in regular or tall. It’s HERE.
