For a tenner, this matte nude palette is exceptional value. If you’re not feeling the mood for a Bobbi spend, I’d say it’s the next best thing minus the intense BB pigmentation level. The pigment in the e.l.f. version isn’t bad at all but it’s not up there in the same league.

The powders are buildable, so you can reach any level of intensity you want, but a bit more effort required which quite frankly is a blessing for those of us who have dived in to an intense pigment palette with our brushes and ended up with far more shadow than we were expecting. The only thing to do in that circumstance is to wipe it off and start again. I’ve done it countless times.

I mean, I think that’s pretty good, right? And, they’re all the usual one swipe with a sponge applicator. The colour palette is right for the autumn mood descending – they’re kind of cosy colours just right with chunky sweaters and swipe of apricot gloss. I didn’t find the powders dusty – there was a tiny bit of kick up but really nothing out of the ordinary so all in all, but I’d certainly want to use an eye primer to ensure the hold. I love that light pinky shade for an eye wake up and the surrounding shades make me think of cashmere and softness. Anyway, it’s HERE.
