What’s noticeable about the autumn collection from Dolce & Gabbana is that it’s beautifully vibrant – there’s little reference to the impending winter although I expect Rome, the inspiration, has a very different winter to London.

The eye shadow quad is called Lushies, £44, (great name!) and features a splash of bright, rosy pink amongst variations on brown that gives it a lift and an unexpected quality. The collection also introduces Millenial Skin On-The-Glow Longwear Concealer, £28, which comes in 7 shades.

I love this quad – it’s very versatile if you want to go taupe by day and then smoky by evening: the pink is as and when you like it.

There’s also a Creamy Illuminator, £40, in a shade called Rosa d’Autunno (above) and three limited edition nail shades – two of which are in the main picture: Blue Angel and Magnetic, £21. I honestly can’t wait to get that blue on my nails!

Lushies is swatched above. I don’t have any of the lip colours here – possibly because they’re not new but just form part of the ‘look’ or samples aren’t ready. If they come, I’ll get them swatched up. The collection hasn’t launched yet (although I notice that Harrods has the campaign images up but not actually stocking the products yet and that happens quite often – personally I think don’t show images of products you don’t have!). All I can tell you is soon!
