“When I went to take my baby to swim lessons at the Y when she turned 6 months, I dug into my swimsuits only to find a giant maternity bikini and a tangle of string bikinis from my former life. Whoops. A friend recommended this suit and it’s been perfect for this in-between time. My daughter is 10 months old and I’m still nursing. This was cheap (so I can toss it next summer without guilt if I want to), full coverage (so I can squat in the sand next to her and pull rocks from her throat), and shows a tiny bit of the strangely flattest part of my stomach.
