I’m slightly cursing this beautiful blush – no matter what light I try and photograph it in, it somehow looks less impressive than it really is. I use natural light and tend to just go with what I’ve got because it’s my kitchen and I can’t imagine fighting my way to the sink through light rigging. Anyway, as you can see, one side is a pop of bubblegum-ish pink, while the other is a pink toned cream/white highlighting shade.
Guerlain Two Tone Blush
If you’re pale toned, then it’s definitely for you – just the right delicate pop of colour to lift your tone without going too far, and the highlight is pitched at just the right off-white shade to give light without glare. The little puff applicator that comes with it isn’t the best thing to use to apply… fine in an emergency but you’re much better off with a fluffy brush. It won’t matter if you pick up a little highlighter at the same time because it’s subtle. It also feels very premium, if that’s a factor that’s important, plus it has such a lovely parma violet scent that catches on the brush so you get a waft of that too. It’s pricy at £36 but Escentual has 20% off everything for a limited time so I’m linking HERE.
