Marc Jacobs Beauty Fantascene Palette

Marc Jacobs Beauty Fantascene Palette

The thing about Marc Jacobs palettes is that they’re consistently high quality – I have swatched and tested many of these now and it’s always the same – smooth, reliable, flattering shades that have plenty of pigment, stay on the lids and come in the most stylish packaging. This one is Fantascene, part of the 2018 Coconut Fantasy collection for summer, which also includes Dew Drops, Omega Bronze Coconut Perfect Tan bronzer and Finish Line Coconut Setting Powder translucent powder.

Shades from left to right are: Flesh, Covets, Fantasy, She Said, Meet Ya, For More, On The Dance Floor. Don’t forget that MJ palette shade names tell a little story of their own so try reading it without the commas.

There’s not one single shade I won’t use in this – I have brown eyes but those sunset shades will look all kinds of beautiful on blue eyes, too. The palette is £39 which I think is pretty reasonable comparing it against the CT quad I reviewed recently at £41. If you missed my Beauty Business News post from Friday, Marc Jacobs beauty is only available at the moment at Net-A-Porter (HERE) but I hear it’s coming to Harvey Nichols imminently.
