L’Occitane Verveine Collection 2018
L’Occitane is spookily psychic when it comes to their summer launches – every year they seem to get it spot on for when we’re wilting in the heat and can think of nothing more lovely than a menthol infused, lemony scented icy gel for our hot bods. Verbena shower gel is a L’Occitane staple but if you don’t know the scent, it’s sweet and zesty like a lemon ice-lolly – I feel sure it’s got sweeter over the years so if you like very sharp citrus you may find it has just edged over. Put it on your body before you get in the shower and massage it over your skin – that releases the menthol and the verbena scent. Set your shower to cool (not cold.. I’m not advocating masochism!) and enjoy!

The gel has the same scent, but also the same hit of menthol so you will get that lovely cooling shiver from it especially if you put it in the fridge. You don’t need a lot which is just as well because it’s 150ml which doesn’t go a long way. However, sensorily, it’s just lovely both in scent and in skin feel; an absolute summer treat. There’s also an exfoliating body sugar and a moisturising body foam (which looks promising) that I didn’t call in and now regret – I’ll see if I can get hold of them.
