A 10,000 Person Waitlist Later, Outdoor Voices’ Swim Line Has Arrived

Since Outdoor Voices is the brand we often associate with moving around, being active, and generally “doing things,” its latest launch seems perfectly befitting of the season. OV is finally getting into swimwear with an activity-specific collection and an inspiring campaign to match.

As the brand confirm, the launch of H2OV racked up nearly 10,000 people in anticipation of the collection of sleek and colorful one- and two-pieces, all which officially landed on the site today. But what’s more, the campaign falls in line with label’s ethos that being active isn’t reserved for any one kind of person. In fact, the campaign feature women of different sizes, backgrounds, and abilities, including model and activist Mama Cax, who also happens to be an amputee. As with other exemplary swim campaigns for ASOS, SwimsuitsForAll, and Aerie, OV also skipped the retouching in favor of images with a bit more honesty.

With OV’s penchant for selling out hit products—as well as the waitlist— we suggest moving quickly to try the grab one of these “dive-tested and belly-flop approved,” as the brand claims, suits. We’ve shopped out some of the stand-out pieces below.

Here’s what happened when I traded my leggings for the polarizing trend of bike shorts?
