Origins is one of my favourite mask brands – they’ve really got this part of skin care locked down with every kind of mask you could possibly want, for any skin issue and for every skin age. I can’t think of another brand doing masking this well. If you don’t know Madeleine Shaw, she’s a well-being expert – self taught as far as I can work out – focussing on healthy eating (check her recipes HERE , they’re gorgeous!) and self care so I can see the relevance of the tie-in, just.
So, cutting straight to the actual product, the coconut infused mask: actually to be more precise, coconut, apricot, lemon, orange and lime infused mask! Yes, it does smell as delicious as it sounds so that’s half the pleasure of it right there. In terms of boosting hydration, which is what it’s supposed to do, yes, absolutely! Give it ten minutes (and do give it the full 10) on dry or slightly tight skin (that kind of ‘been outside too long’ feeling) and let the essential fatty acids do their thing while the smell of zest and coconut makes you long for Mojitos. There was a definite and noticable difference in hydration when I tried it and I had lovely soft skin as well. You might want to gently exfoliate first so you get all of the moisture plus even more of a glow. I love this – it feels pampering but does double the work. It’s £26.50 HERE with a free mask brush, free delivery and free samples at checkout. Not seeing a reason not to!
